About AquiJo
AquiJo is a 282-foot Oceanco and Vitters ketch with Tripp Design naval architecture, a high-performance rig, a beach club with sauna and steam room, and seventeen crew for twelve guests.
AquiJo was built by Oceanco and Vitters in 2016 and refitted in 2026. Tripp Design drew the yacht, a high-performance ketch with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. Twin Caterpillar engines give a speed of 15 knots, and draft is about seventeen feet. Two RS Aero sailing dinghies on board let the party take the helm of something smaller.
Dölker + Voges designed the interior, with bright lacquer headboards set against contemporary wood and chrome. The aft deck seats twenty-four at a dining table beneath a retractable roof, and a main deck bar seats twelve, with a retractable TV, colored lighting and a beer tap. A beach club has a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and lounge, and the flybridge adds another jacuzzi and sun pads. Two 22-foot semi-rigid tenders and a 20-foot military-spec inflatable tender handle shore runs. The garage holds a three-person Yamaha WaveRunner, wakeboards, water skis, inflatable and rigid paddleboards, kayaks, eight sets of dive gear and fishing rods.
Best For
AquiJo is for experienced sailors and for groups of twelve who want a sailing yacht with the volume of a motor yacht. The rig and the performance give the sailors aboard something to do, while the spa deck and the wide dining deck keep everyone else well looked after. Weekly rates are in US dollars, converted from euro at the European Central Bank rate of October 20, 2026 and rounded to the nearest $5,000. The rate covers the yacht and crew. Running costs such as fuel, food, drinks and berthing are paid from an advance provisioning allowance, usually 30 to 35 percent of the rate, with any unspent balance returned. VAT depends on the cruising area, delivery fees apply only if the yacht must reposition, and crew gratuity is at your discretion. Rates are confirmed at booking.
Guest Accommodations
Seven cabins in a flexible layout accommodate twelve guests, including a wheelchair-accessible double. The master suite sits apart on the bridge deck with a private terrace and an elevator.
