Bold Motor Yacht for Charter

Bold is the fastest explorer yacht in the world: a 280-foot Silver Yachts build with a certified helideck, a 3,200-square-foot loft and wintergarden, and an unusually long toy inventory.

Launched in 2019 to a design by Espen Oeino, Bold runs on a lightweight aluminum semi-displacement hull that cruises at 16 knots and reaches 23. Her draft of just over nine feet opens anchorages that yachts of this size normally cannot enter, and stabilizers run both at anchor and underway. Twenty crew look after twelve guests.

The upper-deck loft is the heart of the yacht. Floor-to-ceiling glass, ceilings up to twelve feet and a 20-by-10-foot media wall open onto a wintergarden whose glass panels fold away for dinner outdoors at a table for eighteen. Interiors mix teak and oak paneling with metallic accents and oak and marble floors. On the sun deck, an eight-person jacuzzi sits behind wind-shielding glass beside an outdoor cinema, and the 4,300-square-foot teak main deck, with folding bulwarks and a six-ton crane, carries tenders and toys of almost any size.

The helihangar doubles as a gym, yoga room and disco with its own sound, media and lighting, and the night-rated helideck accepts aircraft up to an EC145. Guests may bring their own helicopter or charter the yacht’s Leonardo AW109, which carries seven passengers. Three Rupert tenders, three 300-horsepower Sea-Doos, two Laser dinghies, eight full kitesurfing sets, six scuba sets, e-foils, surfboards, mountain bikes and a game-fishing kit round out the list.

Bold is for a large family gathering or a corporate host entertaining twelve guests over Grand Prix or festival week, where a crew of twenty and a helicopter take care of the logistics.
