About Steel

Steel is a 180-foot Pendennis refitted in 2025, with Cuban mahogany interiors by Liebowitz & Pritchard, a spa pool, a gym and a crow’s nest, hosting twelve guests in seven cabins.

Pendennis built Steel in 2009 on a steel displacement hull, and a refit followed in 2025. Caterpillar 3512B power gives 12 knots, stabilizers keep her steady at anchor and underway, and draft is about ten feet. Liebowitz & Pritchard designed the interior, which is finished in Cuban mahogany for a warm feel. Eleven crew look after twelve guests in seven cabins, and Wi-Fi and air conditioning are aboard.

The outdoor decks hold a spa pool, a jacuzzi and a bar, along with open relaxation areas and a crow’s nest for looking out over the water. A gym is on board for guests who keep to a routine. The tender list is an unusual one: canoes, for quiet paddling close to shore. The toy list adds a paddleboard, Seabobs, waverunners, fishing gear and snorkeling gear, so there is a range of ways to spend time on the water.

Best For

Steel suits an extended family or a group of friends traveling together who want room, warmth and plenty of places to sit outdoors. Seven cabins let each couple or family keep its own space. Ask us about the 2025 refit and how the spa pool, jacuzzi and crow’s nest suit your group.

Weekly rates are in US dollars, converted from euro at the European Central Bank rate of October 20, 2026 and rounded to the nearest $5,000. The rate covers the yacht and crew. Running costs such as fuel, food, drinks and berthing are paid from an advance provisioning allowance, usually 30 to 35 percent of the rate, with any unspent balance returned. VAT depends on the cruising area, delivery fees apply only if the yacht must reposition, and crew gratuity is at your discretion. Rates are confirmed at booking.
