Lady L is a 146-foot Heesen with an aluminum semi-displacement hull, an 18-knot cruise, a master suite on the main deck, a sun deck jacuzzi and a home theater.

Heesen built Lady L in 2012, in aluminum for both hull and superstructure, to a design by Omega Architects. The semi-displacement hull is driven by twin MTU engines totaling 7,200 horsepower, which hold an 18-knot cruise. Stabilizers work at anchor and underway, and the draft is just over eight feet. A grey hull gives her a sleek profile that reads differently from the usual white yacht.

Five cabins carry their own bathrooms, with the master suite on the main deck, two VIP cabins and two twins. The interior is contemporary. Aft on the skylounge deck, an alfresco dining area sits in the open air, while forward on the sun deck a jacuzzi and large sunpads take the afternoon. Inside, DirecTV, a central movie and music server, a home theater and Apple AirPlay cover the evenings. A 21-foot Castoldi jet tender with 260 horsepower handles shore runs. The water toys include two Seabobs, two two-seat Spark jet skis, a wakeboard, water skis, snorkeling gear and towables. A crew of eight runs the yacht.
